Schroders Capital has won the ‘Innovation Award – Investment’ award at the Pensions Age Awards 2024 for launching Long-Term Asset Fund (LTAF) solutions for Defined Contribution pension savers.
The award recognises Schroders Capital as the first manager to launch an LTAF and also celebrates the two innovative LTAFs designed to make impact and private assets accessible to today’s pension savers.
The two funds, Schroders Capital Climate + LTAF and Schroders Greencoat Global Renewables + LTAF, were launched over the past year, offering investors access to private assets investments that support the net-zero transition.
The Pensions Age Awards aim to reward UK pension schemes and pension providers that have proved themselves worthy of recognition in spite of the broader economic challenges.
The awards are open to any UK pension scheme or provider firm which serves pension schemes in the UK.
